Tomasz Garstkowiak and Piotr Salewski appeared on the Tricity music scene at the beginning of the century thanks to the Old Time Radio band, which, in a pioneering way in Poland, combined intelligent electronics with acoustic sounds and pop melodies. Cisowa–Wrzeszcz is a project in which musicians expand their aesthetic explorations, drawing inspiration from ambient, krautrock and progressive electronics. “Wyspa” is the duo’s third album. Eight compositions created over the last two years are inspired primarily by space and landscapes. The songs are dominated by disturbing drones, spatial sound spots and processed guitar sounds. The whole thing brings to mind an unusual soundtrack – sometimes sultry and disturbing, sometimes subtle and melancholic. The sparse lyrics harmonize with the sound.
Wojt and Vreen are a reference team when it comes to independence. Over the last 10 years they have doubled their number of followers on FB, from 67 to 134!!! So if you want to join the fans of truly niche music, now is the time.
Their fourth album “IV” has just been released, promoted by the song “Papapam” – apparently the only encore they have ever played. And it was an encore at the request of Krzysztof Siemak, so whoever dares to make fun of them should be careful. Siemak knows a lot about music.

We are happy to announce a new band in our family: Obrazek.
It is created by:
?Magdalena Kruk – a guitarist with the talent of Bernard Butler. You know her from the ninth edition of Pure Phase Ensemble and/or Pipi Ya Jeli (be sure to check out the latter if you don’t know her)
?Jan Dąbrowski – sings good, broken lyrics in Polish, sometimes in the style of Pogodno, sometimes Placebo (#hysteria). Sings cleanly and often. He also plays guitar.
?Piotr Naguszewski – an efficient drummer with an impressive drum set, and the best dressed sound engineer (#NaSiAnno – what year was it? Who remembers? )
?Marcin Malinowski – plays bass. Yes that’s all. For now. Bass players are often unnoticed and underestimated, but let’s remember how much depends on them. Marcin also seems to hold Obrazek together. Everyone loves him, not only for his sense of humor <3
Work on the album continues. First single in February 2024, but their beautiful Cristal Melancholia is already available on Spotify:
