Strength and sensitivity. Poems and gym. Let’s prove that the strength of the muscles equals the power of the imagination that indwells in each of us.

During the 3-day workshop you will be able to create your own song about physical culture. We invite both fitness enthusiasts and young musicians aged from 15 to 25. Everyone will have a computer with the adequate software at their disposal. You can also take an instrument. At the end of the workshop, you will have a chance to present your songs at the final concert. The unique symbiosis of sport, music and great fun will take place! We’ll make some noise!

Workshops are organized within the Bodybuilding Poetry Project by the Nasiono Association. Project is supported financially by the City of Gdansk. The workshop will be led by TriCity musicians: Karol Schwarz and Michał Miegoń.

Black suits, straight faces, no unnecessary movement. Suddenly – without warning – the sound explodes. Huge wall of sound.
What can be confusing for the audience, is the contrast between what you see and what you hear. Mastabah does not jump on stage, no headbanging (no hair!), they are motionless, deadly. At the same time they attack with no mercy with incredibly fast tempo and powerful, earth scorching sound.

Neverending Delays – Muzak For The Masses – premiere

Michał Miegoń (Kiev Office, The Shipyard) and Piotr Pawłowski (Made in Poland, The Shipyard) are Neverending Delays – a power duo deconstructing jazz, muzak and modern chillout electronica. If Autechre, Pat Metheny and Fenesz could jam together in a smooth hotel restaurant, this could be the sound.
Each of four tracks on their debut LP “Muzak For The Masses” represents total freedom in terms of length, samples and joy of creation.
Is it a soundtrack to a night on cold, dark supermarket? Or a promise of blooming love? Improvised experiment? As well it can be a muzak for lost generation, perfectly crafted for fastlove era.

Kiev Office: new album and tour

We would like to present the latest album by Kiev Office: Modernistyczny Horror – a thing about their hometown, Gdynia, painted in many colours – not necessarily dark. Album release party with a concert will be held on 19 May 2017 in B90 Club in Gdańsk, and the band sets out on a tour to promote Modernistyczny Horror on 13 May. Join us there!

A journey to the centre of Gdynia
Gdynia – a city known as 'the pearl of modernism’. But what lies beneath the ground and behind the renovated facades of old buildings? What can you find if you choose a different path than these occupied by tourists? The new Kiev Office album “Modernistyczny Horror” (“The Modernistic Horror”) takes listeners for a crazy ride around these unexplored areas. Bushes, bunkers, secret corridors and rarely visited enclaves of autochthonic Gdynia society. It is a journey to the heart of the city.

Only through the eyes of locals can you explore the real face of Gdynia. With Goran, Asia and Krzysztof we take a ride through local pubs, lonesome fields, and forgotten districts that are similar to distant villages. Somewhere deep beneath the core of the City lies something disturbing but fascinating at the same time.

Kiev Office are faithful to the traditions of Tricity and Gdynia musical underground. But on each album they also explore their hometown, in lyrics and in video clips. With each new release the stories they tell and songs they sing evolve and are getting more mature.

(…) If you create songs that start out completely inadequately to the rest of the track, that emanate madness, if you write lyrics about Gdynia and you can spoil the sound of the guitar during your solo, then your name has to be Michał Miegoń.
This is the best album of this band, with a fantastic sound and surprising twists of the plot. There is even an inevitable smash hit „Cafe Santana”, which contains the necessary dose of a certain wonkiness.

Technolodzy Procesu join Nasiono

We are pleased to announce that we’ve got a new band joining Nasiono Records label – Technolodzy Procesu. The ones who are in Gdańsk tomorrow, will have a chance to listen to them live at B90 club where the band will be supporting Popsysze and promoting their new album „Semuta”.

Technolodzy Procesu formed in March 2016 as a side project of Bartek Chylewski and Piotr Wyrwaszewski – two members of Grupa Terapeutyczna Gluten from Tricity.

When we began work on the album, we aspired to create some kind of a sonic version of The Rorschach test – a minimalistic, monochromatic soundtrack to the inner journey. The album title refers to Frank Herbert’s „Dune” – the book in which he mentions Semut – mysterious, atonal, vibrating music, listeners of which consumed extract from Ellaca tree.

The album comprises two asymmetrical halves (Supplier/Recipient). Each of them, in terms of technology, is derived from one of two night recording sessions that took place in the summer of 2016 at Verstalia studio.

Premiere: Popsysze „Kopalino”

Popsysze’s third album was recorded in April 2016 during a week-long stay in a summer house in Kopalino village. Most of the tracks were composed and arranged during this time. In the material recorded you can hear the sea, smell wet soil. The surrounding got the group so inspired and enchanted that they decided to name the album “Kopalino”.

Jarek Marciszewski is the author of the lyrics. During the process of writing the musicians were supported a lot by Grzegorz Nawrocki from the band Kobiety. He is, among others, a co-author of the “Latarnia” lyrics.

The album well be released on 11 Feb 2017 on Nasiono Records. PRESALE

The first single of the album is “Słońce”. The video for it was created by Joanna Kucharska / Sztukodzieło (who’s also the bass player with Kiev Office, Marla Cinger, 1926, Lonker See)
